What We Collect

When you use ProbateClarity, we may collect the following information:

• Form responses — answers you provide about the estate (state, value, family structure, assets, etc.) used to generate your report.
• Email address — only if you voluntarily provide it via the email capture form. This is entirely optional.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. We never see or store your card number, bank details, or billing address. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
• Basic usage data — standard server logs (page visits, errors) for operational purposes. When you complete a purchase, these operational logs may include a partially-masked version of your email address (e.g. “jo***@example.com”) to help us debug order issues — never your full email address or any other contact details.

How We Use Your Data

• Your form responses are used to generate your personalized probate education report.
• Your email address, if provided, may be used to deliver a summary of your results or occasional relevant updates. You can opt out at any time.
• We do not use your data for advertising. See “Data Sharing” below for how we may share your information with attorneys if you purchase a report.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your card number or payment credentials. Your payment data is governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that payment was successful and an order reference number.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Lemon Squeezy, for payment processing.
• Infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase) that host and store our service data under strict data processing agreements.
• If required by law or a valid legal process.

We do not sell your data for advertising purposes. However, if you purchase a report, we may share your contact information (name, email, phone if provided, state, and general estate details) with licensed probate attorneys in your state who may be able to assist you with your situation. You can opt out of this at any time by contacting support@probate-clarity.com, and no sharing occurs before you complete a purchase.

Email Capture

Providing your email address is entirely optional. We will not send you unsolicited commercial email. If you provided your email and wish to be removed from our list, contact us at the address below.

Data Retention

Report data (your form responses and generated report) is retained to allow you to access your report via your unique link. We do not retain data longer than necessary for these purposes.
